Characteristic.

The standardized extract of Ginkgo biloba leaf plants (Ginkgo biloba). It contains flavones glycosides, terpene lactones (ginkgolides and bilobalide) and other extractives.

Pharmachologic effect:

Nootropic, enhances mental performance, improves cerebral blood circulation, anti-hypoxic, improves microcirculation, antiagregatine, reducing capillary permeability, veno-tonic, improves peripheral circulation.

Indications

Encephalopathy (consequences of stroke, traumatic brain injury, old age), manifested by disorders of attention and / or memory, reduced intellectual ability, anxiety, fear, sleep disorders; dementia, including Alzheimer's disease; to improve memory and attention in young adults; neurosensory disorders (dizziness, tinnitus, Gipoakuzija), age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy; asthenic conditions: psychogenic, neurotic due to traumatic brain injury; disorders of the peripheral circulation and microcirculation, including arteriopathy of the lower extremities, Raynaud's syndrome.

Dosage

Inside, during a meal. Dementia: 40-80 mg 3 times a day (120-240 mg / day). Asthenic disorders: 240 mg / day. In other cases: 40 mg three times daily or 80 mg 2 times a day. The course of treatment - at least 8 weeks (median 3 months).

Side effects

Diarrhoeal disorders, headache, dizziness, allergic reactions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.
