Characteristic

The preparation is a purified fraction of the globulins of the immune cow colostrum obtained by the alcohol deposition method and lyophilized.

Mode of action - antibacterial.

Pharmacological (immunobiological) properties

The antibodies in the preparation have a pronounced antibacterial and antitoxic effect against Salmonella, Proteus, Klebsiella, and Pseudomonas.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, for 20-30 minutes before feeding.

Treatment with lactoglobulin is carried out against the background of conventional antibacterial and symptomatic therapy.

To fix the effect of treatment is recommended combination of the drug with bifidumbacterin.

For the prevention of salmonella infection in children at risk from 1 month and older - 1 dose 2 times a day, 10 to 14 days. It is possible to repeat courses of using lactoglobulin at intervals of 3-4 months.

For emergency prevention of salmonella infection in contact with the sick, the newborn - 0.5 doses 2 times a day, children from 1 month and older - 1 dose 2 times a day, 10 days.
