Composition and form of release

1 tablet, coated with enteric coating, contains indomethacin 25 mg; in a blister 10 pcs., in a cardboard pack of 3 or 5 blisters.

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic.

Indications

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis in the exacerbation stage, degenerative hip joint lesions, acute gouty arthritis, acute inflammation of the musculoskeletal tissue (bursitis, tendonitis, synovitis, tenosynovitis, lower back pain), pain in primary dysmenorrhea.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (including to aspirin), diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (including in the anamnesis), age (up to 14 years).

Contraindicated.

Side effects

Lack of appetite, gastric discomfort, pain in the epigastric region, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, ulceration, perforation and bleeding from the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, hepatitis, jaundice, drowsiness, dizziness, bone marrow depression, anemia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenic purpura, leukopenia, allergic reactions.

Interaction

Side effects are aggravated (mutually) by aspirin or other salicylates. When co-administered with anticoagulants, the risk of ulceration of the stomach and bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract increases.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, after eating, 1-2 tablespoons. 3 times a day.

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, intense headache, dizziness, disorientation, drowsiness, numbness, paresthesia and seizures. Treatment: clean the stomach, induce vomiting (syrup ipecacuana), gastric lavage in the absence of vomiting, then prescribe 25-50 mg of activated charcoal. It may be necessary to administer antacids.

Precautionary measures
