Dosing and Administration

Locally. At home, Otofag is applied to the treated area directly from the vial or with a napkin (cotton swab). The treated area cannot be wetted (do not wash the gel) for 40 minutes after applying Otofag.

In conditions of admission by a specialist, affected or injured parts of the ear and other ENT organs are treated with Otofag.

Otofag is safe if swallowed and swallowed.

Do not bring Otofag into closed foci of inflammation that do not have or have a limited outflow of exudates from the hearth (for example, sutured wounds). The introduction of Otofag into such foci can lead to marked exacerbation of the inflammatory process and / or edema and / or lymphostasis.

Schemes of application

Hygiene of the auricles in healthy people, incl. In the period of unfavorable epidemiological situation, with the change of climatic zones, the harmful effects of the environment and other risks of infection with bacterial infections: 1 ml of Otofag (one-press) is applied 2-3 times a day after hygiene measures. The duration of the preventive course is from 7 to 14 days. The course is recommended to be repeated every month. The duration of the use of Otofag for preventive purposes is not limited.

Prevention of bacterial inflammatory diseases of the ear in the presence of risk factors, incl. Diabetes, oncological diseases (especially during radiation and chemotherapy), reduced local and general immunity, fungal and viral infections of ENT organs, autoimmune and other systemic diseases: 1 ml of Otofag (one-press) 2-3 times a day after hygienic Activities. The duration of the course corresponds to the duration of the risk factor. When the risk factor terminates, a regimen for healthy people is recommended.

Prevention of bacterial inflammatory diseases of the ear (external and average otitis) and their relapses, nose (sinusitis, rhinitis), throat (pharyngitis, abscesses, tonsillitis, chronic tonsillitis) and other respiratory diseases (bronchitis, epiglottitis, influenza, ARVI): the dose of Otofag is determined Doctor, based on a specific clinical situation.
