Pharmacodynamics

Indications

Diabetes mellitus type I. Diabetes mellitus type II with resistance to oral hypoglycemic drugs, intercurrent diseases, before and after surgery.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, hypoglycemia.

Not recommended (use human insulin).

Side effects

Hypoglycemia, hypoglycemic precoma and coma, immunological cross reactions with human insulin, lipodystrophy (with prolonged use), allergic reactions.

Dosing and Administration

SC (in exceptional cases - in / m). The site of the injection is changed at each injection. The initial dose for adults is 8-24 IU, single dose should not exceed 40 IU. When switching from insulin-C to Comb-insulin C, the daily dose decreases 4-fold.
