Composition and release form

1 dose of trivalent inactivated split vaccine (0.5 ml) contains haemagglutinin and neuronididase of the following strains of the influenza virus

Type:

A / New Caledonia (H1N1), (A / 20/99) -15 μg hemagglutinin,

A / Moscow / 10/99 (H3N2), similar to A / Panama / 2007/99 - RESVIR-17 - 15 μg hemagglutinin,

B / Beijing / 184/93, similar to Yamanashi / 166/98 - 15 μg hemagglutinin.

Antigenic composition of the vaccine is updated annually according to WHO recommendations.

Suspension for injection - in a disposable syringe for 1 dose (0.5 ml). The vaccine does not contain preservatives.

Indication of the drug Begrivac

Prevention of influenza in adults and children older than 6 months.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (including to the protein of chicken eggs) or allergic reactions to the previous inoculation with this drug in the anamnesis. Vaccination should be postponed for acute infectious diseases.

Side effects

There may be allergic, local reactions, malaise, headache, fever, sweating, myalgia, arthralgia; In very rare cases, as with any vaccination, it is possible to develop minor neurological complications.

Dosing and Administration

IM, SC, before use shake. Children from 6 months to 3 years - 0.25 ml, from 3 years and adults - 0.5 ml once; Children under 3 years who have not been vaccinated in previous years are recommended to twice vaccinate in 0.25 ml at intervals of 4 weeks.
