Pharmacological Properties of Velorin 100

Pharmachologic effect - antianginal, hypotensive, anti-arrhythmic.

Selectively blocking beta1-adrenergic receptors.

Indications for Velorin 100

Hypertension, angina, arrhythmia, myocardial infarction.

Contraindications for Velorin 100

Sinus bradycardia, AV block II and III degree, cardiogenic shock, severe heart failure.

Side effect of Velorin 100

The feeling of cold in the extremities, muscle fatigue, bradycardia, sleep disturbances, dry eyes, skin rash.

Dosage and Administration

Inside (for adults). Hypertension - usually 50-100 mg once daily.

Angina - 100 mg 1 time per day or 50 mg 2 times a day.

Arrhythmia - 50-100 mg once a day (after elimination of arrhythmia in / infusion).

Myocardial infarction - during the first 12 hours of 5 mg every 15 minutes, in a maintenance dose - 50 mg every 12 hours, and then 100 mg per day for 10 days.

Precautionary measures

Not recommended for children. It should stop taking before surgery (the interval between the last dose and anesthesia should be at least 2 days). With caution is prescribed for congestive heart failure (especially in combination with digitalis drugs), patients with bronchospasm, pregnancy (only if the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus). Persons older age and severe liver and kidney function dose reduction is required. It must be borne in mind that atenolol may mask the manifestation of hypoglycemia (eliminates tachycardia). You cannot suddenly stop treatment in patients with IHD.

Storage conditions of Velorin 100

In the dark and dry place at a temperature no higher than 25 ° C.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life
