Description of dosage form

Suppositories of light yellow color with a greenish tint with a specific smell of menthol, torpedo-shaped.

Combined antihemorrhoidal drug.

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, antiseptic, drying, painkiller.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

pregnancy;

breast-feeding;

children under 2 years.

pregnancy and lactation

Contraindicated in pregnancy. For the duration of treatment, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

Side effects

Burning and dryness of mucous membranes (with the use of the drug for more than 5 days).

Systemic side effects, characteristic for GCS (with prolonged use): gastritis, steroid stomach ulcer, adrenal insufficiency, Itenko-Cushing syndrome, steroid diabetes, slowing of reparative processes.

Dosing and Administration

Rectal, 1 supp. a day after cleansing enema or spontaneous bowel cleansing for 5 days.
