Composition and release form

Liquid for inhalation anesthesia; in light-protective bottles-droppers 50 ml each, in the box 1 bottle.

Pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anesthesia.

Oppresses the central nervous system: blocks n-holinoretseptory skeletal muscles and vegetative ganglia, alpha1-adrenoreceptors vessels. Increases the sensitivity of beta1-receptors to catecholamines.

Indications for the Phthorothanum

Inhalation anesthesia.

Contraindications

Pheochromocytoma, hyperthyroidism, hypercatecholamineemia, hepatic insufficiency, hypotension, arrhythmia.

Side effects

Hypothermia, hypotension, bradycardia, ventricular fibrillation, nausea, vomiting, headache.

Dosing and Administration

Inhalation, (in a mixture with oxygen or nitrous oxide with oxygen) with the help of anesthesia, for anesthesia - 3-4%, to maintain the surgical stage - 0,5-1,5%.

In a dry, cool place protected from light.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life of the drug Phthorothanum

2 years.
