Composition and form of release

1 tablet contains dexpanthenol 100 mg; in the package of 20 pcs.

1 ampoule with 2 ml solution for injection - 500 mg; in the package 10 pcs.

pharmachologic effect

Replenishment of pantothenic acid deficiency.

Indications

Tablets: inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (bronchitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, rhinitis), condition after tonsillectomy, stomatitis. Solution for injection: prevention and treatment of postoperative intestinal atony, paralytic intestinal obstruction; parenterally or inward: insufficiency of pantothenic acid (sensation of tingling, numbness, pain in the toes and in the feet).

Contraindications

Hemophilia, mechanical intestinal obstruction (for parenteral administration).

Side effects

Allergic reactions (with parenteral administration).

Dosing and Administration

Inside (the tablets are kept in the mouth until completely absorbed). Adults with diseases of the mucosa - 200-400 mg per day at regular intervals; with pantothenic acid deficiency - 100 mg, regardless of food intake, with a small amount of liquid (not more than 500 mg per day).

subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intravenously. For the prevention of postoperative intestinal atony - 4 ml at or soon after surgery (IV); treatment of postoperative intestinal atony - 4 ml (if necessary, injections can be repeated after 6 hours) iv or IM; with paralytic obstruction of the intestine - 2 ml IM or IV injection - then 2 and after 6 hours before the normalization of the intestine.

It should be prescribed with caution in chronic kidney failure.
