Composition and form of release
1 tablet contains mefenamic acid 0.25 or 0.5 g; in a blister for 10 pcs., in a pack of 5 blisters.
pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic.
It blocks cyclooxygenase and inhibits the synthesis of PG.
Indications
Pain (headache, neuralgia, arthralgia, myositis) and febrile syndromes.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, gastritis.
Side effects
Nausea, diarrhea, allergic reactions.
Dosing and Administration
Inside, after meals - 0.5 g 3-4 times a day; children 5-10 years - 0.25 g, over 10 years - 0.3 grams.
Storage conditions
In a dry place protected from light.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Shelf life
5 years.
Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
