pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological action - detoxification, hepatoprotective.
Neutralizes free radicals in the liver, prevents the destruction of cellular structures. It specifically stimulates RNA polymerase and activates the synthesis of structural and functional proteins and phospholipids in damaged hepatocytes. Stabilizes cell membranes, prevents the release of intracellular components (transaminases) and accelerates the regeneration of liver cells. It inhibits the penetration into the cell of certain hepatotoxic substances (poison of the toadstool).
Clinical Pharmacology
It improves the general condition of patients with liver diseases, reduces subjective complaints (weakness, feeling of heaviness in the right hypochondrium, loss of appetite, vomiting, skin itch), normalizes laboratory parameters (transaminase activity, gamma-glutamyltransferase, alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin level). With prolonged use increases the life expectancy of patients with cirrhosis of the liver.
