Composition and release form

1 ml of solution for injection contains diphenhydramine 10 mg; In ampoules of 1 ml, in a cardboard box 10 pcs.

1 tablet - 30, 50 or 100 mg; In contour non-jawed packaging 10 pcs.

1 tablet for children - 20 mg; In contour non-jawed packaging 6 pcs.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - antihistamine, hypnotic, sedative.

It blocks histamine H1 receptors, cholinergic receptors of vegetative nervous nodules, relaxes smooth musculature.

Indication of the drug Dimedrol tablets for children 0,02 g

Allergic diseases, allergic dermatosis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, insomnia, vomiting of pregnant women, Meniere's syndrome, seasickness, radiation sickness, parkinsonism.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Side effects

Drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, headache, weakness, numbness of mucous membranes, decreased reaction rate.

Dosing and Administration

IM - 1-5 ml of 1% solution. Inside, adults - 25-50 mg 1-3 times a day.

Children - 10-30 mg 1-3 times a day. Course - 10-15 days.
