Composition and form of release

1 chewable tablet contains algeldate (aluminum hydroxide dry gel) 300 mg, magnesium aluminum salicylate hydrate 50 mg, magnesium hydroxide 25 mg and polydimethylsiloxane 25 mg; with the aroma of orange, mint and mixed fruit aroma; in blistere 8 pcs., in the box 1 blister.

10 ml of the gel for ingestion (approximately 2 complete body parts) contain 185 mg of hydroxide, 50 mg of polydimethylsiloxane, 100 mg of sodium carboxymethylcellulose and 830 mg of algeldate (aluminum hydroxide of dry gel); with the aroma of orange, mint and mixed fruit aroma; in bottles of dark glass for 170 ml.

pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - adsorbing, antacid.

Neutralizes hydrochloric acid, protects the gastric mucosa from irritation.

Indications of the drug Digene

Gastritis with normo- and hyperacid (acute and chronic in the stage of exacerbation), hernia of the esophageal opening of the diaphragm, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum (in the phase of exacerbation), heartburn, epigastric pain after errors in the diet, drinking alcohol, coffee.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, hypermagnesia, hypophosphatemia.

pregnancy and lactation

Not recommended in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Interaction

Violates the absorption of tetracyclines, iron preparations, warfarin, digoxin.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, adults: tablets (chewing or rassasyvaya each pill), or the gel is taken after each meal and at night before bedtime - 2-4 tablets. or 2 complete gel packs (10 ml); children - in an individual (recommended by a doctor) dose.

Overdose

If an overdose occurs (in rare cases), stop taking the drug and adjust the fluid deficit. Specific therapy is rarely required.

Precautionary measures

In patients with impaired renal function, hypermagnesia may develop. With prolonged admission, the occurrence of phosphate deficiency in the body is not ruled out.
