Composition and release form

Indications of the drug Diazepam
Neurosis, psychopathy, schizophrenia, insomnia, epilepsy, itching dermatoses.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, hepatic-renal failure, myasthenia gravis, angle-closure glaucoma, pregnancy.
Side effects
Dizziness, drowsiness, slow reaction, decreased mental and motor activity, muscle weakness, ataxia, dry mouth, dyspepsia, nausea, diarrhea, dyspnea, bronchospasm, galactorrhea, hyperprolactinaemia, allergic reactions.
Dosing and Administration
Inside, adults - 4-15 mg per day in 2 divided doses (maximum daily dose - 60 mg, in a hospital). Breast children older than 6 months - 0.1-0.8 mg / kg per day in 3-4 divided doses.
