Description of dosage form

Tablets: round, biconvex, greenish-blue with a matte surface.

Drops for ingestion: a transparent, yellow-brown liquid with the smell of fetus ordinary. There may be a slight deposit during storage.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - dopaminomimetic.

Pharmacodynamics

The components of the drug have a normalizing effect on the concentration of sex hormones.

The main active component of the drug is ordinary prutnyak. Dopaminergic effects of the drug, causing a decrease in prolactin production, eliminate hyperprolactinemia. Increased concentration of prolactin disrupts the secretion of gonadotropins, resulting in impaired maturation of the follicles, ovulation and formation of the yellow body, which subsequently leads to an imbalance between estradiol and progesterone and can cause menstrual irregularities and mastodinia. Unlike estrogens and other hormones, prolactin also has a direct stimulating effect on proliferative processes in the mammary glands, enhancing the formation of connective tissue and causing the expansion of the milk ducts. Reduction of the prolactin content leads to the reverse development of pathological processes in the mammary glands and stops the pain syndrome. Rhythmic development and normalization of the ratio of gonadotropic hormones leads to the normalization of the second phase of the menstrual cycle.

Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Application in pregnancy and breastfeeding

The drug should not be used during pregnancy, but also during breastfeeding.

Side effects

Rarely, allergic skin reactions. There are data on rare cases of transient psychomotor agitation, confusion and hallucinations.

Interaction

When combined with antagonists of dopamine receptors, a mutual lowering of the effect is possible. Interactions with other drugs are still unknown.

Dosing and Administration

Inside.

Take 40 drops or 1 table. 1 time per day in the morning, with a small amount of water (tablets are not chewed). The drops should be shaken before use.

Duration of treatment - at least 3 months (without interruption during menstruation). After the symptoms disappear and the condition improves, the treatment should be continued for several weeks. If after the completion of the treatment the complaints appear again, it is necessary to consult a doctor.

Overdose

Cases of overdose are unknown.

In the development of weakness, depression, pain in the mammary glands, as well as in the case of menstrual irregularities, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Drops for oral administration should not be used after successful treatment of alcoholism.

It should be borne in mind that the tablets, coated with a shell, contain milk sugar (lactose), which can cause epigastric pain and diarrhea.

Note for patients with diabetes: people with diabetes can take drops and pills, because they have diabetes mellitus. A single dose of this drug contains less than 0.03 counted XE.
