Composition

Pharmacological Properties
Pharmachologic effect

tocolytic, bronchodilator.

By stimulating the beta2-adrenergic receptors reduces the tone of smooth muscle cells, dilates the bronchi and facilitates breathing.

Indications Brikanil drug

Bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchospastic syndrome, emphysema, threatened premature labor, threatened abortion (from the 16th week of pregnancy), suturing to eliminate premature uterine contractions.

Contraindications

Hyperthyroidism, tachycardia (metrorrhagia during pregnancy), premature placental abruption, intrauterine infection, chronic pyelitis.

Side effects

The tremor, palpitations.

Interaction

Enhances the arrhythmogenic effect of halogen-general anesthetics, hypertensive effect of MAO inhibitors, increases intraocular pressure against the background of glucocorticoids, weakens (mutually) activity of beta-blockers.

Dosing and Administration

Asthma: inwards adults - 2.5-5 mg 2-3 times a day; children 3-6 years - 1 / 4-1 / 2 Table 7-15 years -. 1 / 2-1 Table. 3 times a day; n / a, adults - 0.25 mg to 3 times a day.
