Structure and Composition

1 ml of eyedrops contains 5 mg antazoline phosphate, Naphazoline hydrochloride 0.25 mg; in vials-droppers of 10 ml in box of 1 vial.

pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological effect - a vasoconstrictor, anti-allergic, anti-histamine.

Blocks histamine H1 receptors inhibits the effect of histamine on smooth muscle of blood vessels and bronchi (antazoline). Turn the alpha-adrenergic receptors of the smooth muscles of the vascular wall, it has a vasoconstrictor effect (naphazoline). Reduces the severity of symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis (redness, itching).

Indications Allergic conjunctivitis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (including to the drug), severe heart failure, hypertension, prostate adenoma, narrow-angle glaucoma, pregnancy, lactation, children's age.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Contraindicated during pregnancy. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Side effects

Mydriasis, increased intraocular pressure, systemic reactions (increased blood pressure, heart rhythm disturbance).

Interaction

Not recommended simultaneous application with antidepressants, MAO inhibitors.

Dosage and Administration

Conjunctival, 1-2 drops four times daily to the affected eye.

Precautionary measures

With the simultaneous use of others. Eye drops interval between instillation should be at least 5 minutes. In case of deterioration or absence of therapeutic effect within 72 hours, treatment should cease.

special instructions

The product contains a mercury preservative. After opening the bottle solution may be used within 30 days.
