Globulin Connecting Sex Hormones (GCSH)
26 Dec 2016
Globulin Connecting Sex Hormones (GCSH) is a glycoprotein which unites in blood with anabolic hormones, estrogen and some other hormones, thereby reducing their biological activity.
GSPG is made, mainly, in a liver from where gets to a blood-groove. Besides small amounts of GSPG are formed in brain, uterus, testicles and placenta. GSPG which is made in testicles call an androgen the connecting protein. Please pay attention to Vazalamin.
Testosterone and estrogen circulate in blood, contacting mainly GSPG and to a lesser extent albumin. And only a small part of these hormones remains free, this rest has the effect on an organism. Thus, activity of many steroids is determined by a capability to contact GSPG, the less this capability, the efficiency of a steroid is more.
