Structure and Composition

1 Nebula (plastic vials) contains salbutamol (as sulfate) 2.5 mg in 2.5 ml of physiological solution for inhalation; Nebula in the packing 10, in box 1, 2, 3, 5, or 6 pilings.

Dosing and Administration

Nebula Ventolin should be used under the supervision of specialists with the help of an inhaler (nebulizer) and masks, T-shaped or endotracheal tube. Sometimes used artificial ventilation with intermittent positive pressure. Designed for use in undiluted form, but if necessary the solution of prolonged use (more than 10 minutes), the drug may be diluted with sterile saline. The solution remaining in the nebulizer chamber unused should be discarded.

Inhalation. Adults and children initial dose of 2.5 mg, but can be raised to 5 mg. Inhalations may be repeated four times per day. For the treatment of severe upper airway obstruction adult dose may be increased to 40 mg / day under close medical supervision in hospital. Clinical efficacy in children younger than 18 months has not been established.

Storage conditions

The temperature is not above 30 ° C. After opening the foil packing stored nebula is not more than 3 months at a temperature below 30 ° C in a dark place.
