Pharmacological Properties of TramazolinePharmachologic effect
alpha adrenostimuliruyuschee means; It has a vasoconstrictor effect. It reduces swelling of nasal mucosa, nasal congestion during "cold", and hay fever. Onset of action - 5 minutes, duration - 8-10 hours.

Indications for Tramazoline
Rhinitis, hay fever, sinusitis, otitis media with evstahiitom.

Contraindications for Tramazoline

Hypersensitivity, atrophic rhinitis, children's age (up to 6 years).

Preucation:

Angle-closure glaucoma, pregnancy, lactation.

Dosage

Intranasal, up to 4 times a day in each nostril. The course of treatment - no more than 5-7 days.

Side effect

swelling of the nasal mucosa, burning, copious, nausea, dizziness, headache, disturbance of taste sensitivity, palpitations, increased blood pressure. With prolonged use - rhinitis, nasal congestion, mucosal atrophy.

Overdose of Tramazoline
Symptoms: fatigue, dizziness, nausea, insomnia, increased blood pressure, tachycardia, fever, shock, reflex bradycardia.

Interaction

In combination with antidepressants and MAO inhibitors increases the risk of hypertension.

Special instructions
