Mode action - anti-inflammatory, increasing nonspecific resistance of the body, antiseptic.
Pharmacodynamics
Pharmacological properties are due to the biologically active substances that make up the drug. Tonzylgon® H has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. The active components of chamomile, althaea and horsetail included in the preparation contribute to an increase in the activity of nonspecific factors of body defense. Polysaccharides, essential oils and flavonoids of chamomile, althea and yarrow, tannins of the oak bark have an anti-inflammatory effect and contribute to reducing edema of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract.

Acute and chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis);
Prevention of complications in respiratory viral infections;
As a supplement to antibiotic therapy for bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, incl. Plants of the family of Compositae;
Lactose intolerance, fructose, lactase deficiency, sucrose-isomaltase, glucose-galactose malabsorption (for dragees);
Children's age (for drops - up to 1 year, for dragees - up to 6 years);
Alcoholism, incl. After antialcohol treatment (for drops).
With caution (for drops): liver disease, TBI, brain disease, children age over 1 year (use is possible only after consulting a doctor in connection with the content of ethyl alcohol in the drug).
Application in pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of the drug is possible if the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. Consultation of the doctor is necessary.
Side effects
From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea and vomiting are possible.

Interaction
