Tincture (1:10) on 80% alcohol; in bottles of 30 ml.

Characteristic

Transparent liquid of red-brown color with a characteristic smell of propolis.

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial.

Indication

Microtrauma, superficial damage of skin and mucous membranes, otitis media, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, periodontal disease.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, eczema.

Side effects

Allergic reactions.

Dosing and Administration

Inside - 20-60 drops in 1 / 4-1 / 2 cups of water 3 times a day for 5-30 days (with peptic ulcer 3-4 weeks).

Outer: microtraumas, wounds 1-3 times a day are treated with a swab soaked in tincture; with chronic purulent otitis - in the ear (in the external auditory meatus), the tampon is administered 1-2 min 2-3 times a day or 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day; with chronic pharyngitis and tonsillitis, lubricate the tonsils with tincture diluted with water (1: 2), 1-2 times a day for 1-2 weeks or inhalate (1-2 inhalations daily for 7-10 days) aqueous solution (1:20 ); with chronic sinusitis, wash the cavity with tincture mixed with isotonic sodium chloride solution (1:10) 2 times a day for 14 days, with periodontal disease tincture is injected on the tubers into pockets for 5 minutes after deep curettage; in the presence of wound surfaces on the mucous membrane in the mouth, with inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat for rinsing - rinse (15 ml tincture for 1 / 2-1 glass of warm water) 4-5 times a day for 3-4 days.
