Pharmacology

Pharmacological action - miorelaksiruyuschee, nedepolyarizuyuschee, n-holinoliticheskoe.

Nondepolarizing muscle relaxant of medium duration. Neuromuscular blocking activity is several times higher than that of d-tubocurarine, and ganglion blocking properties are several times weaker. When administered at a dose of 8-10 mg causes complete miorelaxation and apnea lasting 20-60 minutes. Repeated administration of 1/3 of this dose ensures the continuation of muscle relaxation for the same period. Does not affect the release of histamine, causes a slight short-term decrease in blood pressure and dilated pupils.

Indications

Relaxation of skeletal muscles in general anesthesia with tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation (medium and long duration surgery) in adults.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, myasthenia gravis, hepatic and / or renal failure.
