Pharmacology

Mode of action - bronchodilating, diuretic, vasodilating, cardiotonic.

Inhibits phosphodiesterase and increases the level of cAMP in cells, competitively blocks adenosine receptors. Affects the intracellular distribution of calcium, reduces the release of histamine and leukotrienes, reduces the synthesis and effects of PG, increases the release of endogenous catecholamines.

Pharmacodynamics
