Composition (per tablet):

Pharmacological Properties of Propranolol
Pharmachologic effect - antianginal, hypotensive, anti-arrhythmic.
Beta-adrenoceptor blocking.
Indications of Propranolol
Arrhythmias, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, myocardial, cardiopsychoneurosis, hyperthyroidism, liver cirrhosis, withdrawal syndrome, migraine (prevention), uterine inertia.
Contraindications
Uncompensated heart failure, asthma, bradycardia, hypotension, peripheral circulatory disorder, Raynaud's disease, insulin therapy, treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
Side effect
Weakness, dizziness, dyspepsia, bronchospasm, bradycardia, AV block, heart failure, peripheral artery spasm, itchy skin.
Dosage and Administration
Inside, hypertension - 40 mg 2 times a day, gradually increasing the dose to 160-480 mg in 2 divided doses; migraine and angina - 20 mg four times a day, then - 40 mg for reception; arrhythmia, cardiomyopathy, thyrotoxicosis - on 10-40 mg 3-4 times a day.
Precautionary measures
With caution is prescribed for acute myocardial infarction, abnormal liver and kidney function.
