Composition and release form

1 ml of solution for injection contains procaine hydrochloride 5 mg; in cardboard packs 10 ampoules of 10 ml.

Dosing and Administration

For infiltrative anesthesia, 0.25-0.5% solutions are used, for Vishnevsky anesthesia 0.125-0.25%, for conductive anesthesia 1-2%, for epidural anesthesia 2% (20-30 ml), for spinal anesthesia - 5% solution (2-3 ml). With local anesthesia, the amount and concentration of novocain solutions depend on the nature of the surgical intervention. With paranephric blockade, 50-80 ml of a 0.5% solution or 100-150 ml of a 0.25% solution is administered into the peritoneal cellulose. With vagosympathetic blockade apply 30-100 ml of 0.25% solution. In a vein enter from 1 to 10-15 ml of 0.25-0.5% solutions slowly. The highest single dose for adults IM - 5 ml of 2% solution or 0.1 g, IV - 20 ml of 0.25 or 0.05% solution, inside - 0.25 g. The highest daily intake for adults IM and IV - 0.1 g, inside - 0.75 g.
