Pharmacotherapy. Combined drug. Heparin sodium - an anticoagulant of direct action; Has also anti-inflammatory effect, promotes regeneration of connective tissue due to inhibition of hyaluronidase activity, prevents thrombogenesis, activates fibrinolytic system of blood; Improves local blood flow. Dexpanthenol - provitamin B5, which turns in the skin into pantothenic acid, which is a part of coenzyme A, which plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation; Improving metabolic processes, promotes the regeneration of damaged tissues; Improves the absorption of heparin. Troxerutin is an angioprotective agent; Possesses P-vitamin activity (reduces vascular-tissue permeability and fragility of capillaries), promotes normalization of microcirculation and trophism of tissues, reduces stagnant phenomena in veins and parainous tissues; Has an antiexudative and anti-inflammatory effect.

Indication. Symptomatic treatment of venous insufficiency (varicose veins, acute and chronic thrombophlebitis, postthrombophlebitic syndrome, chronic lymphostasis). Injuries of soft tissues (hematoma, edema, including with dislocation and sprain). Trophic ulcers in the regeneration phase (in the absence of pronounced exudation).

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity, open infected wounds or wounds with heavy exudation.

Dosing. Outerly, apply a thin layer on the affected area and around it, evenly spreading on the surface of the skin with light circular movements until completely absorbed 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment 2-3 weeks, with a repeat 2-3 times a year (with relapse of the disease).

When trophic ulcers with mild exudation before use, the wound surface is cleaned of exudate and necrotic tissues, if necessary, washed with hydrogen peroxide solution 3%, nitrofural 1: 5000 or chlorhexidine 0,05% and dried. The gel is applied with a uniform thin layer on the entire affected surface and a sterile gauze bandage is applied. Change dressings produced once a day. With the open method of treatment, the drug is applied 1-2 times a day. The duration of treatment is determined by the dynamics of epithelialization.

Side effect. Local allergic reactions (skin rash, itching).

Special instructions. Not intended for use in ophthalmology, for intravaginal and rectal administration.

Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
