Pharmacodynamics

Indications

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, glaucoma (especially the closed-angle form).

Side effects

Paresis of accommodation, photophobia, increased intraocular pressure, glaucoma attack, systemic effects (anxiety, agitation, dry mouth, dysuria, hyperthermia), allergic reactions.

Interaction

The effect is enhanced by sympathomimetics, weakened by m-holinomimetics. The probability of systemic side effects increases tricyclic antidepressants, phenothiazines, amantadine, quinidine, antihistamines and other drugs with m-cholinolytic properties.

Dosing and Administration
