Composition and release form

1 tablet contains loratadine 10 mg; In a contour blister packing 10 pcs., In a cardboard bundle 1 packing.

Pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - antiallergic, antihistamine, antipruritic, antiexudative.

It blocks histamine H1 receptors, inhibits the release of histamine and LTC4 from mast cells.

Indication for the Klarifer

Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and year-round), conjunctivitis, acute urticaria, Quincke's edema, itching dermatosis (contact allergic dermatitis, chronic eczema), allergic reactions to insect bites.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, age to 2 years.

Application in pregnancy and breastfeeding

At pregnancy it is possible or probable only under vital indications. For the duration of treatment, breastfeeding should be stopped.

Side effects

Rarely - increased fatigue, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, gastritis, impaired liver function, cough, tachycardia, excitability (in children), allergic reactions, in some cases - alopecia.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, adults and children over 12 years old (body weight more than 30 kg) - 10 mg once a day, children from 2 to 12 years (body weight less than 30 kg) - 5 mg once a day.

Precautionary measures

Patients with impaired liver function Klarifer should be used in an initial dose of 5 mg / day in connection with a possible violation of the clearance of loratadine.
