Composition and release form

1 g of ointment contains recombinant human interferon alpha-2b 10,000 IU sorbed on aluminum oxide hydrate gel with the addition of polyvinyl alcohol, in vials of 1, 2, 3 and 5 g, in a box of 5 vials.

Mode of action - Antiviral, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulating, antibacterial, antitumor.

Indication of the Interferon alfa-2 ointment

Herpetic lesions of the skin and mucous membranes: simple and herpes zoster, herpes of the face and genitals, herpetic stomatitis and gingivitis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Dosing and Administration

Locally. Apply to the affected skin and mucous membranes with a thin layer and dry for 10-15 minutes until a protective film is formed; The procedure is repeated every 12 hours for 3-5 days.
