Composition and release form
1 ml eye drops or nasal spray contains levocabastine 0.5 mg; In bottles-droppers of 4 ml or in bottles with a sprayer of 10 ml, respectively, in a cardboard bundle 1 bottle.
Pharmachologic effect
Mode of action - anti-allergic, antihistamine.
Selectively blocks histamine H1 receptors.
Pharmacokinetics
After instillation in the eye, Levocabastine is absorbed slowly and not completely. The concentration in the plasma is too small to have a systemic effect. With a single intranasal injection, 30-40 μg of levocabastine is absorbed, 70% of this amount is excreted mostly unchanged in urine. T1 / 2 35-40 hours.

Allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis.

Hypersensitivity.
Application in pregnancy and breastfeeding
During pregnancy, it is prescribed only in those cases when the expected positive effect of treatment exceeds the potential risk to the fetus.
Side effects
Irritation of the conjunctiva or nasal mucosa.
Dosing and Administration
Conjunctival (eye drops) 1 drop in each eye or intranasally (nasal spray) - 2 injections into each nasal passage (it should be cleaned first). Apply usually 2 times a day, if necessary - 3-4 times a day.
Precautionary measures
With caution use the spray for violations of kidney function. Burying in the eyes eliminates the wearing of soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses.
