pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antipruritic, antiexudative.
Oppresses phospholipase A2, reduces the synthesis of PG (prostaglandins) and the isolation of macrophage chemotactic factor.
Pharmacodynamics
It has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, antiallergic and antipruritic effect, reduces the migration of macrophages and lymphocytes to the inflammation focus, stabilizes the lysosome membranes and prevents the release of lysosomal enzymes, blocks the release of sensitized mast cells and basophils of histamine and other biologically active substances. It is 40 times more active than hydrocortisone.
Indications
Severe inflammatory and allergic diseases of the skin and mucous membranes (including those resistant to therapy with other corticosteroids): neurodermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, red flat lichen, seborrheic dermatitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity; acne; Bacterial (including tuberculosis), fungal, viral and tumor skin diseases.
pregnancy and lactation
Not recommended during pregnancy.
Side effects
Skin and subcutaneous fat atrophy, lupus-like syndrome with mild course, appearance or exacerbation of symptoms of red flat lichen, epithelialization disorders, delayed healing of wounds and ulcerative lesions, petechiae, steroid purpura, striae, hirsutism, female hair loss, maculopapular skin rash.
Dosing and Administration
Outwardly. Apply to the affected surface, lightly rubbing, 1-2 times a day, no more than 2 g / day. With psoriasis, the use of an occlusive dressing is possible. The duration of the course is no more than 1-2 weeks. On the skin, the face is applied very carefully and not more than 1 week.
Children older than 2 years - with caution, only once a day, on small areas of the skin.
Precautionary measures
Do not use for a long time and in large areas (possibly the manifestation of systemic effects). If skin irritation occurs at the site of the ointment application, it should be discarded. When dryness and tightening sensation, the skin is lubricated with 5% salicylic oil.
