Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - Replenishing iron deficiency, anti-anemia.

Dosing and Administration

IM, daily. Adults - 2 ml (100 mg of Fe). Children 2-12 years - 1-2 ml (50-100 mg Fe); Up to 2 years - 0.5-1 ml each (25-50 mg Fe). The course of treatment is 15-25 injections depending on the severity of anemia.
