Pharmacological action. Combined preparation. Dihydroergocriptine (dihydrogenated ergot derivative) blocks the alpha 1 and alpha 2-adrenergic receptors of platelets and vascular smooth muscle cells. Provides dopaminergic, serotonergic action reduces erythrocyte and platelet aggregation reduces vascular permeability, improving blood circulation and metabolism in the brain, brain tissues increases resistance to hypoxia. Caffeine has psychoactive and analeptic action, strengthens the processes of excitation in the cerebral cortex, increases mental and physical performance, reduces fatigue and sleepiness, increases the reflex excitability of the spinal cord, stimulates the respiratory and vasomotor centers, affect the CCC (increases the force of contraction and heart rate increases BP during hypotension), has a diuretic effect.
Indications. Cerebrovascular disease (including atherosclerosis due to cerebral); residual effects of a stroke; decrease in mental alertness, memory decline in relation to recent events, decreased attention, disorientation; migraine; vestibular and labyrinth disorders (dizziness, tinnitus, Gipoakuzija) of ischemic origin; Meniere's disease; retinopathy (diabetic and hypertensive); disorders of peripheral blood circulation (Raynaud's syndrome and disease); venous insufficiency.
Contraindications. Hypersensitivity, glaucoma.
Dosing. Inside (during meals, with a small amount of water), 1-2 tablets or 2-4 ml (01.02 pipette), 2 times a day.
Side effect. Allergic reactions, blood pressure reduction. Tachycardia. Nausea, gastralgia (does not require discontinuation of the drug).
Interaction. When concomitant administration of antihypertensive drugs may develop hypotension. Caffeine reduces the effect of hypnotic drugs and narcotic analgesics.
Special instructions. Hazardous during pregnancy may reduce lactation. Contained in the preparation of caffeine can cause sleep disturbances, tachycardia.
