Composition and form of release

Solution for intravenous and intramuscular injection 1 ml

Mazipredon hydrochloride 30 mg

Auxiliary substances: benzyl alcohol; Ethanol (96%); Propylene glycol; water for injections

In ampoules of brown glass of the first hydrolytic class, 1 ml each; In the box there are 3 ampoules.

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-shock.

Dosing and Administration

In / in (intravenously) or in / m (intramuscularly). Adult, with shock, resistant to standard therapy, a one-time dose of 30-90 mg IV (intravenously) slowly (approximately 3 minutes) or drip. The maximum daily dose is 150-300 mg.

If it is impossible to / in (intravenously), the introduction can be injected deep into the gluteus muscle, with the action occurring later.

If necessary, in addition, 30-60 mg of the drug IV (intravenously) or IM is administered (intramuscularly).

With other indications, a single dose is 30-45 mg IV (intravenously) slowly or IM (intramuscularly) (in the gluteus muscle). When the condition improves, treatment should continue with decreasing doses of prednisolone tablets.

Children: at the age of 2-12 months, a one-time dose of 2-3 mg / kg IV (intravenously) or deep into the gluteus muscle; From 1 year to 14 years - 1-2 mg / kg IV slowly (about 3 minutes) or deep in the gluteus muscle. If necessary, after 20-30 minutes the dose can be repeated.
