Composition and form of release

1 g of cream or ointment contains hydrocortisone (in the form of acetate) 10 mg; In tubes of 14 g.

pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antipruritic, antiexudative.

Stimulates steroid receptors, induces the formation of lipocortins, inhibits phospholipase A, inhibits the synthesis of PG (prostaglandins), reduces the release of cytokines from lymphocytes and macrophages and inflammatory mediators (including algogenic - histamine, bradykinin, etc.) from eosinophils and mast cells.

Indications

Itching and rash with seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, accompanying irritation and inflammation of the skin in contact with plants, insect bites, use of detergents and cosmetics, wearing jewelry, itching in the genital area and anus.

Contraindications

Bacterial (including tuberculosis, syphilis), viral, fungal and tumor skin diseases; Diaper rash in children, itching in the genital area, accompanied by vaginal discharge; Children's age (up to 2 years, with itching in the anus - up to 12 years).

Side effects

Rarely - skin irritation, bleeding (when applied in the anus area). With long-term use and / or when applied to large surfaces, systemic effects are possible.

Dosing and Administration

Locally, adults and children over 2 years. When itching in the anus (children over 12 years old) are applied to the affected surface 3-4 times a day (not more often); Pre-wash the affected area with warm water, then dry.

Precautionary measures

Avoid other application, except for outdoor, incl. Do not enter into the rectum (with itching in the anus). Do not use without consulting a doctor in children under 2 years (with an itch in the anus - up to 12 years), with vaginal discharge (in case of itching of the genitals). Avoid contact with eyes.
