Pharmacological action. Rehydrating agent, has a detoxification effect, stabilizes the water and electrolyte composition of the blood. When used as a means of replenishment acid-base balance, because of the rapid exit from the bloodstream into the extravasal space, the effect persists for only 30-40 minutes (in connection with which the solution is only suitable for short-term replacement of the acid-base balance).

Indications. Shock, thermal injury, acute blood loss; dehydration; Intestinal fistula; Acute intestinal infections; Therapeutic plasmapheresis; Correction of water and salt balance in acute diffuse peritonitis and intestinal obstruction.

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity, hypernatremia, hyperchloremia, acidosis, CHF, cerebral edema, pulmonary edema, chronic renal failure, concomitant therapy with GCS.

Dosing. IV by drop infusion, at a speed of 60-80 cap / min, or jet. The daily dose for adults - 5-20 ml / kg, if necessary, can be increased to 30-50 ml / kg.
