Pharmacotherapy
Combined drug. Choline salicylate has a local analgesic, anti-inflammatory effect. It inhibits the activity of COX (cyclooxygenase), the function of macrophages and neutrophils, the production of interleukin-1 and inhibits the synthesis of Pg. It also has antimicrobial and antifungal action (in acidic and alkaline medium). Cetalkonium chloride - antiseptic, acts on bacteria, fungi and viruses. The analgesic effect is observed after 2-3 minutes, the duration of the action is 2-8 hours.
Pharmacokinetics
When applied to mucous membranes, it is well absorbed.
Indications
Periodontal diseases, damage to the oral mucosa (including when wearing dentures), stomatitis of various etiologies, gingivitis, periodontitis, pain in teething in children, cheilitis, candidiasis of the oral mucosa, small surgical interventions; when localization in the mucosa of the oral cavity - red flat lichen, multiforme exudative erythema (including Stevens-Johnson syndrome) - as part of complex therapy.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (including salicylates).

Dosing
Locally. Dental gel in the amount of 1 cm for adults and 0.5 cm for children is squeezed out onto a clean finger and rubbed lightly massaging movements into the affected area of the oral mucosa 2-3 times daily before meals (for analgesia) or after meals and before bedtime . With periodontal disease, the gel is inserted into the pockets or applied as compresses, or gently rubbed into the gums 1-2 times a day.
Side effect
Short-term light burning in the areas of application. Allergic reactions.
Interaction
In the case of a significant drug overdose, it is possible to increase the effect of other anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic drugs.
