Composition and release form

1 tablet, coated with a coating, contains dicarbine 25 mg; in glass jars of 50 pcs., in a cardboard box of 1 can.

Pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - antidepressant, antipsychotic, antihistamine.

It blocks dopamine receptors in various brain structures, as well as histamine H1 receptors.

Indications Carbidin filmcoated tablets 0,025 g

Schizophrenia (including with depressive-paranoid attacks), alcoholic psychosis, withdrawal syndrome.

Contraindications

Dysfunction of the liver, poisoning with narcotic and analgesic drugs.

Side effects

Fine tremor (mainly upper limbs), stiffness, increased muscle tone, hyperkinesia; hepatitis with the development of jaundice (requires the drug to be withdrawn).

Interaction

Strengthens the effects of narcotic and analgesic drugs.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, with schizophrenia (affective disorders) and depressive-paranoidal condition, treatment begins with 12.5 mg per day (with a gradual increase in the dose to 75-150 mg) for 3 doses; in case of intensification of psychopathological disorders against the background of taking 150 mg per day, the dose is reduced to 75-50 mg; with long-standing schizophrenia with severe apathoabulic and affective disorders, the dose is increased to 400-600 mg / day.
