Pharmacotherapy

The preparation is of plant origin. Has anti-inflammatory effect, stimulates reparative processes.

Indications

Small wounds and skin abrasions, superficial burns, insect bites

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Dosing

Outerly, apply a thin layer on the damaged skin under a sterile bandage 2-3 times a day.

Side effect

Allergic reactions, dermatitis in the place of application.

Pharmacotherapy

A preparation of vegetable origin (purified extract of flowers of calendula officinalis). Has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and choleretic effect. Stimulates reparative processes in diseases of the digestive tract.

Indications

Locally: inflammatory diseases of the mouth (gingivitis, stomatitis, periodontitis) and throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, pharyngolaringitis). Inside: chronic gastritis, cholecystitis, cholangitis. Tincture (optional): cuts, bruises, eczema.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, acute gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the period of exacerbation; calculous cholecystitis, pregnancy, lactation, children under 18 years (with oral administration).

Carefully. For tincture: liver disease, alcoholism, TBI, or brain disease.

Dosing

Outwardly, topically, inside. About 10 g (3 tablespoons) of calendula flowers are placed in enameled dishes, poured 200 ml of boiling water, covered with a lid and heated on a water bath for 15-20 minutes, then cooled for 45 minutes at room temperature, filtered, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

When using filter bags: 4 filter bags are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist 30 minutes. Filter packs are squeezed out, the volume of the obtained infusion is brought to boiling water to 200 ml.

Before use, the infusion is shaken.

To rinse the mouth and throat, apply 1 / 2-1 glass infusion 3-5 times a day in a warm form.

Inside, before meals, 1-2 tablespoons infusion 2-3 times a day. Duration of treatment is 3-4 weeks, if necessary - 6 weeks.

Tincture: the cuts are treated with a cotton swab; with bruises and eczema, the aqueous solution of the tincture (1 tsp lid per 1 glass of water) is exchanged in the form of lotions; for rinsing the throat and oral mucosa - 1 / 2-1 a glass of aqueous solution of the tincture; inside (as a cholagogue) - 10-20 drops, before meals, 3 times a day.

Side effect

Allergic reactions (including skin itching).

When ingestion: bitterness in the mouth, heartburn, nausea (for tincture).
