Description of Calcium dobesilate

Pharmacology

Normalizes the impaired permeability of arterioles and capillaries, increases their resistance, increases the elasticity of red blood cells, improves microcirculation and drainage function of lymphatic vessels, moderately reduces platelet aggregation and blood viscosity.

Relatively slowly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, Cmax in the blood after ingestion is reached after 5-6 hours, does not penetrate the BBB, excreted mainly by the kidneys within 24 hours.
