Characteristics of the substance Antithrombin III
Lyophilized powder of purified human plasma antithrombin III. Solutions for injection have a pH of 6.0-7.5.
Pharmacology
Mode action - Anticoagulant.
Inactivates thrombin, forms covalent bonds with it (in a stoichiometric ratio of 1: 1), oppresses the activity of factors IXa, Xa, XIa, XIIa and plasmin.

Hereditary deficiency of antithrombin III, DIC-syndrome.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, children's age (safety and efficacy not established).

Side effects of substance Antithrombin III

Precautions for substance Antithrombin III
It is recommended to reduce doses of heparin when it is combined with AT-III (prevention of bleeding). During pregnancy, it is prescribed only in case of emergency (safety not established).
