Composition and release form

One inoculum dose (0.5 ml) of the preparation contains 10 units of binding (EC) of tetanus toxoid. Sorbent - aluminum hydroxide (0.25-0.55 mg / ml), preservative - mertiolate (0.05 mg / ml). Ampoules of 1 ml (two inoculations), in the package 10 pcs.

Characteristic

AC-anatoxin consists of purified tetanus toxoid adsorbed on an aluminum hydroxide gel. The preparation is a suspension of a yellowish white color, separated when standing on a clear supernatant and a loose sediment that completely breaks down when shaken.

Contraindications

Acute infectious diseases (no earlier than 2-4 weeks after recovery), exacerbation of chronic diseases, pregnancy.

Side effects

Rarely: fever, weakness, tenderness in the place of inoculation, hyperemia, puffiness, allergic reactions and exacerbation of allergic diseases.

Dosing and Administration

SC, in the subscapular region in a single dose of 0.5 ml. The full course of vaccination consists of two vaccinations of 0.5 ml each with an interval of 30-40 days and a booster at 6-12 months in the same dose. Subsequent revaccinations are carried out every 10 years with a single dose of 0.5 ml.

Precaution measures

After the introduction, it is necessary to observe the vaccinated for 30 minutes (the possibility of developing allergic reactions). The preparation is not suitable for use in ampoules with broken integrity and marking, with changing physical properties (turbidity, intense staining, presence of non-breaking flakes), expired shelf life, improper storage.
