Characteristic. A mixture of aluminum hydroxide adsorbed on the gel (types A, B and E) and tetanus toxoid, neutralized by formalin and heat.
Pharmacotherapy. Forms a specific immunity against botulism and tetanus for a duration of at least 5 years.
Indication. Prevention of botulism and tetanus in individuals aged 16-60 years (in women - up to 55 years).
Contraindications. Hypersensitivity, acute infectious diseases, exacerbation of chronic non-infectious diseases, blood diseases, endocrine system diseases, SSS diseases, allergic diseases (including bronchial asthma, severe allergic reactions to food medicines, etc.), collagenoses (including (SLE), infectious and non-infectious diseases of the central nervous system (including in the anamnesis), malignant neoplasms, pregnancy, lactation.
Dosing. Subcutaneous area (1 cm from the lower angle of the scapula to the midline of the back), the course of immunization consists of three inoculations: a double vaccination with an interval of 25-30 days and a booster at 6-9 months. Subsequent one-time revaccinations are performed according to indications every 5 years. Single dose - 1 ml. If it is necessary to extend the intervals, the next vaccination should be carried out as soon as possible.
Special instructions. The preparation of the drug is registered in the prescribed accounting forms with the manufacturer's name, serial number, expiration date, date of introduction and the nature of the reaction to the administration.
In acute infectious diseases, exacerbation of chronic non-infectious diseases, the vaccine should be given no earlier than 1 month from the moment of recovery or remission.
The interval from previous vaccinations should be at least 1 month.
