Indications Amitriptyline-Ferein

Manic-depressive psychosis (depressive phase), depression (including in childhood), mixed emotional disorders and behavioral disorders, children's enuresis (except for bladder-induced bladder hypotension), psychogenic anorexia, chronic pain syndrome.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, recently transferred myocardial infarction, anxiety-paranoid syndrome (the possibility of suicide), angle-closure glaucoma, paralytic ileus, epilepsy, pyloric stenosis, prostatic hypertrophy, ischemic heart disease with tachycardia, uncontrolled hypertension, peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer, breast-feeding, children under 7 years.

Side effects

Dosing and Administration

Inside, 25-50 mg per night, then increase the dose for 5-6 days to 150-200 mg / day (the main part of the dose - at night), if necessary - up to 300 mg / day. After the disappearance of symptoms of depression, the dose is reduced to 50-100 mg / day and continues treatment for at least 3 months. In the elderly with mild disorders, 50-100 mg / day at night. When enuresis in children younger than 6 years - 10 mg at night, from 6 to 10 years - 10-20 mg / day, from 11 to 16 years - 25-50 mg / day for no more than 6-8 months.

Overdose

Symptoms: spasms (possible only after 3-5 days), expansion of the QRS complex on the ECG.
