Pharmacological action - anticholinesterase, stimulating neuromuscular transmission.

Indications

Diseases of the peripheral nervous system, Alzheimer's disease, myasthenia gravis, myasthenic syndromes, demyelinating diseases, bulbar paralysis and paresis, birth stimulation.

Contraindications

Epilepsy, extrapyramidal disorders, angina, bradycardia, bronchial asthma.

Side effects

Hypersalivation, nausea, vomiting, increased peristalsis, diarrhea, dizziness, bradycardia, frequent urination, twitching of the muscles of the tongue and skeletal muscles, allergic reactions.

Interaction

Increases the effect of acetylcholine, adrenaline, serotonin, histamine and oxytocin on smooth muscle cells.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, 10-20 mg 1-3 times a day. In severe disorders of neuromuscular conduction (with myasthenic crises) - 1-2 tablets (20-40 mg) to 5-6 times a day. For stimulation of labor activity - once for 1 tablet, with insufficient effect - 1 tablet twice with an hour break.
