Composition and release form

1 ampoule with 10 ml solution for injection contains aminophylline 240 mg; In the box there are 10 ampoules.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - bronchodilating, diuretic, spasmolytic, vasodilating.

Inhibits phosphodiesterase, increases the intracellular content of cAMP.

Pharmacodynamics

Strongly and rapidly expands the musculature of the bronchi. Excites vasomotor center, dilates blood vessels (mainly vessels of the brain, skin and kidneys), shows spasmolytic effect in relation to peripheral venous vessels and reduces venous pressure, increases renal blood flow, stimulates diuresis.

Indication of the drug Aminophyllin

Bronchial asthma, bronchitis, asthmatic state, stroke, chronic (congestive) circulatory insufficiency (in combination with diuretics and cardiac drugs).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, acute myocardial infarction, the first half of pregnancy.

Side effects

Nausea, vomiting, exacerbation of peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum, dizziness, palpitation, insomnia, increased excitability, disorientation, hallucinations, heart rhythm disturbances, collapse, hypoglycemia.

Interaction

Ephedrine and the agents containing it increase the risk of side effects. Reduces the effect of indirect anticoagulants. Propranolol weakens the effect on heart rate and bronchial tone. Pharmaceutically incompatible with glucose solutions.

Dosing and Administration

IV, IM. Adults, IV, slowly - 240 mg (1 ampoule - 10 ml) 1-2 times a day; Children, IV or in IM: up to 3 months - 30-60 mg, from 4 to 12 months - 60-90 mg, from 2 to 3 years - 90-120 mg, from 4 to 7 years - 120-240 Mg, from 8 to 18 years - 240-480 mg per day in 2-3 injections.
