Characteristics of the substance Aminomethylbenzoic acid
White crystalline powder odorless, hardly soluble in water.
Pharmacology
Mode action - Hemostatic, antifibrinolytic.
Inhibits the activators of plasminogen and plasmin, inhibits fibrinolysis. Promotes the stabilization of fibrin and its deposition in the vascular bed, indirectly induces aggregation and adhesion of platelets and erythrocytes.
Application of the substance Aminomethylbenzoic acid
Bleeding due to hyperfibrinolysis: uterine, pulmonary, renal, perioperative; In the hypocoagulant phase of the DIC syndrome, with liver cirrhosis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, hemorrhagic syndrome of thrombocytopenic origin.
Contraindications
Thrombophilic conditions accompanied by the development of thromboses and thromboembolism, hypercoagulable phase of DIC syndrome, severe forms of coronary heart disease or brain, chronic renal failure, pregnancy.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.
Side effects of Aminomethylbenzoic acid
Dizziness, hypertension or hypotension (including orthostatic), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, catarrhal phenomena from the upper respiratory tract.
Precaution measures
Regular recording of the coagulogram is mandatory. It is necessary to ensure sufficient fluid intake and control over the adequacy of diuresis.
