Pharmacotherapy

Immunostimulating agent, also has anti-inflammatory effect. Suppresses (reversibly for 6-8 hours) the hyperactivity of macrophages, reduces the excessive synthesis of TNF, interleukin 1, the production of active forms of oxygen and other acute-phase proteins responsible for the development of toxic and diarrheal syndrome. Normalizes the functional state of macrophages, leads to the restoration of their antigen-representing and regulatory function. Increasing the functional antibacterial activity of neutrophilic granulocytes, enhances phagocytosis and increases nonspecific defense of the body.

Pharmacokinetics

It is excreted mainly by the kidneys. T1 / 2 - 15-30 min.

Indications

Acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, accompanied by intoxication and / or diarrhea. In children older than 6 years: purulent surgical diseases (burns, recurrent furunculosis, chronic osteomyelitis, gangrenous appendicitis with omentitis, peritonitis, purulent pleurisy); frequent recurrent diseases of the respiratory tract and ENT organs of bacterial and viral etiology. Suppositories rectal (in addition): chronic recurrent furunculosis, chronic recurrent herpesvirus infection, postoperative purulent-septic complications - as part of complex therapy.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, children's age (up to 6 years).

Dosing

In / m, rectally, in the acute period of the disease the initial dose is 0.2 g, then 0.1 g 2-3 times a day (every 4-6 h); for chronic diseases - 0.1 g 2 times a day (after 6-8 h) until the symptoms of intoxication and / or diarrhea disappear. The course of treatment is up to 10 days.

Chronic recurrent herpesvirus infection - rectally, 0.1 g daily for 20 days, postoperative purulent-septic repositioning - 0.1 g every other day, course - 15-20 suppositories.

Before the introduction of powder in the bottle, dilute 2-3 ml of water for injection or 0.9% NaCl solution in accordance with the requirements of aseptic.
